QR deposits and wrong-asset prevention
Check the address, network and asset before sending a deposit.
What the QR code is#
The QR code in the deposit panel encodes your wallet address and nothing else. No amount, no token, no chain. Scanning it in a sending wallet fills in the destination; you still choose the asset and the network yourself, and the caption under the code says so.
Three things to check before sending#
- The asset is USDG. The panel prints the USDG token contract address beside the network. If the sending side shows a different contract for "USDG", stop.
- The network is Robinhood Chain, chain id 4663 on a mainnet build. Your exchange or wallet must support this exact network; a transfer sent on another network to the same address does not arrive here.
- The destination is your own address, shown in full under the code, with a copy button that copies the whole address. The short form shown elsewhere in the venue is display only.
On a test network#
The panel says "test assets only. Do not send real funds." Testnet USDG is a mock token with no value; sending real assets to a testnet address does not fund anything.
What cannot be recovered#
The venue holds no keys and cannot move funds on your behalf. A transfer of the wrong asset, on the wrong network, or to the wrong address is between you, the sending service and the chain. In particular:
- an asset other than USDG sitting in your wallet is not a balance the venue can use, and nothing on the venue can convert it;
- a transfer sent on a different chain is on that chain, not here;
- a transfer to a contract address rather than your wallet is not yours to claim.
Why no RINO address is ever shown#
The RINO token is not deployed. The footer says so explicitly rather than showing a placeholder, because an address shown for a contract that does not exist is the first thing a phisher copies. If you are shown a "RINO token address" anywhere, it did not come from this product.
Gas#
Your own transactions need a small amount of the chain's native ETH. The connect sheet reports a low gas balance before you pick a side; a deposit of USDG alone does not cover gas.
